Refund Policy

At Wild Pathways, we understand that travel plans may change. Our refund policy is designed to be clear, fair, and considerate of both our guests and the logistics involved in delivering memorable travel experiences across South Africa and beyond.

 

1. Cancellations by the Customer

A. Cancellation Timeline & Refunds:

30 days or more before departure: Full refund minus a 10% administrative fee.

15–29 days before departure: 50% refund of the total tour cost.

7–14 days before departure: 25% refund of the total tour cost.

Less than 7 days before departure: No refund.

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to info@wildpathways.co.za.

 

B. Non-Refundable Items:

 Booking deposits specifically marked as non-refundable.

Third-party bookings (e.g., flights, hotels, external activities) subject to their own refund policies.

Travel insurance premiums.

 

2. Cancellations by Wild Pathways

In the rare event that Wild Pathways must cancel a tour due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., unsafe weather, insufficient bookings, or force majeure):

Guests will be offered a full refund, or the option to reschedule or receive credit toward a future tour.

We are not liable for expenses incurred outside our package (e.g., independent flights, visas, or accommodations).

 

3. Refund Timeframe

Refunds will be processed within 14 business days from the receipt of the written cancellation request. All refunds are issued to the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.

 

4. No Shows & Early Departures

Participants who fail to show up or choose to leave a tour early for personal reasons are not eligible for a refund.

 

5. Force Majeure

Wild Pathways is not liable for cancellations or disruptions due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, political unrest, pandemics, or government-imposed travel restrictions. In such cases, we will do our best to offer rescheduling options or credit, but cash refunds may not be guaranteed.

 

6. Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that all travelers purchase comprehensive travel insurance to protect against unexpected changes, cancellations, or medical emergencies while traveling.
